I got into painting warhammer when I was around 9 years old and have never looked back! 25 years later my passion for the industry, painting and miniatures in all aspects burns stronger than ever & I am constantly trying to better myself in painting & modelling. For me time is the most important commodity and you can’t replace it, so learning how best to spend it and being time economical without jeopardising painting quality is very important. With painting, modelling and converting I have always tried to better myself on every model I execute never settling for the lazy or easy option, a shortcut is only as good as the results it produces. I am trying to enter more competitions time depending with running Siege and my other business. I was fortunate enough to win a Bronze Golden Demon Duel in 2018, Salute Gold Squad in 2018 and Bronze in the staff category at IronSkull in 2020. I aim to enter more competitions in the future and hope to see you at a competition! Finally, for me quality, attention to detail and a striking model are paramount. Thanks for dropping by the Siege Studios site and for the interest in us!
I’ve made a career from a passion of painting miniatures, from what started in 1993 when a school friend took me into a local hobby shop and introduced me to the miniature world I was instantly hooked. Since then I’ve been lucky enough to have worked full time in the industry since 2007, over this time I have painted pretty much every scale and genre of model. I am an avid competition painter and have now won 10 Golden Demon awards and 11 awards at Salute painting competition, even with all this time and experience painting i am still evolving and developing my techniques and always learning, never happier than when I have a brush in my hand and paint on my pallet.
My passion for painting miniatures started in secondary school when I was 14 years old. I had heard about this peculiar hobby in the classroom where people played with and painted small models. Having just chosen to take a GCSE in art, I figured I would probably be good at it! I already had an interest in Airfix kits at the time, so rather nervously, I decided to give it a go; attending my first club meeting. 8 years later and with the beginnings of a career in the world of professional painting, I think its fair to say going to that club was a good idea! My journey into painting models for people started when my friends confessed their admiration for the passion I had put into my armies at the local gaming club. From there, I slowly began taking on small projects for my friends to further my skills. I joined Siege Studios as a freelance artist during February 2021, having previously left full time education at the University of Wolverhampton, studying Computer Games Design throughout 2020. My favourite armies of all time are the Mechanicum and Sons of Horus of the Horus Heresy, followed closely by the Salamanders. Every time I pick up my brush I always aim to paint a better model than I did previously. After all, painting is my passion, painting is my life!
It all started 18 years ago with Lord of the Rings miniatures and then dabbling with 40k as if it was a gateway drug – I ended up hooked on the miniatures hobby. When Dawn of War was released in 2004, it perfectly captured the imagination of 12-year-old me and I was completely reeled in. I’ve practiced and gained so much experience through my addiction to this fantastic hobby; not even a 2 year pause during University could stop me as eventually I found myself getting back into it with even more force and drive than before. Of course with this ‘second wind’ upon finishing University I found myself putting in even more effort into making miniatures look good, and branching into varied techniques which now have gained more traction since joining Siege. Although not a newbie to the hobby by any means, working at Siege has already introduced me to fantastic professional painting methods, getting to see unique army designs, the community’s love and passion for this hobby (just the same as my own) and seeing it all in its artistic form is great! All this combined with my recent assistance and presence at the first ever IronSkull painting tournament, which was great fun and will only get better every year! I look forward to working with Siege for years to come as we, as a team, rise to further greatness.
I have been in the hobby since 2014, I instantly fell in love and knew I’d found my passion. I put many hours into collecting and painting lots of different miniatures. I’ve had various armies over the years for both Warhammer Age of Sigmar and 40k. In 2018, I decided I loved painting so much I wanted to do it every day and so I turned my hobby into my job and I’ve never looked back. It truly is an amazing career.
More recently I’ve enjoyed painting miniatures for smaller skirmish games such as Marvel: Crisis Protocol and Star Wars Legion. This has allowed me to focus on improving my painting standard and learning new techniques. I’m really keen on improving my ability as a painter, and working for Siege Studios has massively helped me to learn and improve. I truly love every single day in this job!
I’ve been painting for nearly 15 years now, starting as a hobby and then for the past 10 years working within the wargames Industry for a variety of companies. I have painted a wide variety of scales and genres of model, and at everything from a gaming standard up to box art for international companies. I won a Golden Demon award last year and I’m looking to continue to improve my skills and get a few more under my belt over the coming years.
After a twenty five year break I decided to have a bash at painting again while furloughed in 2020, I became immediately addicted and have been painting pretty much everyday since. I like to learn new techniques, be it painting or modelling and push myself on every miniature to try something new. In this case my hard work paid off, within 12 months I landed a job at Siege Studios and won a silver medal in the 2021 Miniature Painting Open. Working at Siege has given me the opportunity to take my craft to the next level and going forward will enter as many competitions as possible.
My love for modelling and painting began when I was 6 years old, and I used to watch my Dad paint model aircraft. As I got older, he showed me how to build and paint model aircraft. I stumbled across a copy of white dwarf on my paper round one day, and then begged my parents to take me to games workshop. Since then, I have never looked back! I’ve been painting and modelling now for about 20 years and it is still as big a passion to me now, as all those years ago. When I’m not painting models, I’m watching painting tutorials. My motto is, you can learn something from everyone… even if it’s how NOT to do something. My personal army is an ever growing chapter of Space Wolves.
I started painting back in the early 90’s with but like a lot of Warhammer fans I took a hiatus through my teens and early 20’s, rediscovering my passion for painting and gaming in 2016. Since then I’ve continually pushed myself to improve my painting and was honoured to join the Siege team in 2020. I love pouring time and attention into my work and striving to achieve that ‘wow’ factor with my models. The opportunity with Siege to paint such a range of different models is amazing and the team really feels like a big family! I’m really excited to see what the future will bring for myself and Siege.
I have been a professional miniature painter for two years, painting for Crooked Dice, White Dragon Miniatures & Bad Squiddo Games before joining the Siege Studios team. I have also collected the honoured sons of Macragge for the last 10 years!
I grew up watching my dad in the hobby and naturally got interested in Warhammer and painting from an early age. I was around 13 when I started to paint for myself and since then I have gone through a tremendous amount of models and paint to get to where I am today. I studied Model Making and Prop Design at University which allowed me to really experiment with different mediums and techniques that I apply to my commissions every day. In the middle of 2020, I made the decision to change my career path, with the support of my lovely wife, from banking into commission painting full time and I could not be happier. Being welcomed into such an amazing team has made me really excited to see what the future brings.
I have had a passion for all things model making for most of my life, from an early introduction with Airfix, I have worked across so many different scales and genres over the years – from 6mm up to 1/19. Personally I most enjoy working on anything armoured that’s heavily weathered, though I am always working to improve my skills and really want to push the top end of my skill envelope over the next few years.
I’ve been in the glorious hobby of miniature wargaming since the 90’s and have collected more models than I care to count. I love the nostalgia of the miniatures in those magazines and run a painting competition called Olden Demon for people to relive those days. My journey in painting has so far resulted in a Gold IronSkull and a Bronze in the masters category at the Miniature Painting Open. In the future, I’d also like to grab something like a Golden Demon or Salute award to add to my collection. When not painting commissions, I enjoy hunting down images and paint recipes to improve my own skills. Also, if you are reading this and happen to own a metal Thunderhawk Gunship that you no longer want then get in touch.
I didn’t get back into painting itself until late 2017 after seeing some people painting their own models in a YouTube video I was watching. So, I did a google search and find my closest local store and decided to go down and take another look at what the models looked like nowadays. As you can guess, I didn’t walk out empty handed and from that point I was hooked all over again.
I’m always looking for ways to improve myself in my work and joining Siege Studios has been a great opportunity to do that. Chances to paint models I wouldn’t normally paint or schemes and techniques I wouldn’t have done for my own work are all something I look forward to tackling. My hope for my future painting is to enter more competitions like Golden Demon and see if I can walk away with a trophy (maybe even a slayer sword one day.
My favourite faction to paint is Space Marines. I love chapter like Blood Angels, Space Wolves and my current army focus is my Emperors Spears war host.
I love Warhammer. Like a lot of people, it ingrained itself in my psyche from an early age, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Personally, I collect and paint a lot of Age of Sigmar armies. I’m passionate about miniatures through every part of the process; from the original idea to the completed paint job. I really enjoy how I can explore a narrative through the miniature and bring it to life and express a concept visually. I am constantly trying to push my skills and develop my abilities, and I really strive for a high quality in my work.
It started with a trip to my cousins house as a child, where I watched him take out this magnificent unpainted model space marine (something I had never seen before) and proceed to dip it fully in a pot of black paint, stating that ‘this was the quickest way to paint it’. Although this statement was probably true, I thought I could definitely do a little better than that. Thus my journey had begun, taking the obligatory teenage years hiatus and then jumped back in at 25. I started taking painting seriously in 2019 and thought that it was something I could definitely do full time and in 2020 I took the plunge and joined the Siege team, who offered me so many opportunities not only to paint things I never would have picked up but to better myself and my skills literally daily. I now work for Siege full time from my home based studio and couldn’t be happier! I look forward to adding my little bit of expertise to the flourishing company that is Siege Studios.
I started the hobby when I was 7 and I’ve been hooked ever since! I’m always trying to push my painting and modelling skills to the next level, trying new techniques and using different products to tell a story through my miniatures. I tend to go for a more realistic, weathered look with my miniatures rather than a fresh, clean look as weathering can be helpful in setting a scene and creating different textures on a miniature.
I was introduced to Warhammer at the age of 10, but like many others had a large break from the hobby shortly after that before finding myself in my local gaming store at the age of 25, and I’ve been painting & gaming non-stop since. I joined the Siege Studios office team in 2019 initially as an Office Assistant, but my role has since grown into Office & Artist Management and beyond! Prior to joining Siege I had been involved in the industry by launching Hobby Hoard, an innovative subscription box service which in its short lifespan supplied over 100 subscribers worldwide with a variety of painting supplies each month, and my Kill Team podcast Chill Team which is still active to this day. Having said that, I’ve never been more proud to be a part of this industry & community than I am now that I work for Siege Studios and I can’t wait to help the company be a part of the surge in popularity that our lovely little industry is soon to experience!
I’ve been building and painting miniatures since my dad bought me a box of monopose space marines, at the age of 10. That was nearly 25 years ago, oh how time flies! Over those years I’ve managed to hone my own style and also learn to paint in a variety of other styles. These days I generally drive my wife crazy, trying to explain new ideas for paint schemes and kit bashes! I’m looking forward to all the different vision’s of colour scheme’s I get to bring to life.
It’s close to 30 years since I painted my first miniature in the hazy 80’s. Born by a modeler dad and I’ve been painting on and off trough time on many different projects. Always experimenting, trying to get better at many styles. Gamer at heart but lately it’s mostly painting! Today most know me for my freehand painting that I paint on banners and miniatures and I’ve also won two silver Golden Demons back in 1997. Looking forward to once more, one day enter a painting competition!
I’ve been in the hobby for nearly 30 years since rogue trader days and before that model planes. Never been so much into the gaming side, more painting and kit bashing and it wasn’t until the LOTR sets came out that I got back into the hobby in a big way. Fast forward a few years, painting mostly my first love Space wolves, I have since then done the old hobbyist thing I bought more stuff. I started painting a few things for my local GW store then for a few Youtuber’s and finally started working with Siege. Personal hobby wise its all about my fully converted Squat army and my two Adeptus Titanicus armies.
I took my first tentative steps into the hobby over 30 years ago; I’d collected Fighting Fantasy books and these had led me inexorably to Games Workshop… and I’ve never looked back. I’ve always been an avid gamer but deep down painting was always where my true skills lay. So much so, that my goal after leaving school was to become an ‘Eavy metal painter… which I’m proud to say I eventually achieved! Collecting wise, I’ve always been drawn to evil armies.. Skeletons being the first miniatures I ever bought, and I’ve been collecting Dark Eldar since their first release. Currently, collecting and playing Warhammer Underworlds is my main hobby passion.
I first got into the hobby in the late 90s when a friend took me to the local Games Workshop. I was immediately drawn to the painting and modelling side of the hobby due to my interest in art. Since then I have drifted in and out of the hobby as a lot of us do. I attended art school in Dundee where I attained a degree in Fine Art with a focus on Sculpture and Printmaking and have had a variety of jobs including a chef, picture framer and gallery attendant. I’m a bit of a jack of all trades but the opportunity to paint miniatures as a career is something I had always wanted but didn’t think would happen for me. Working as an artist for Siege is a dream come true and a great culmination of my life experience so far. A strong work ethic and good time management from many years as a chef, combined with my artistic ability and formal training, benefit the focused, disciplined and project driven skill of commission painting.
I joined Siege Studios in December 2019 as Accounts and Admin in Siege Head Office, before that I came from a HR & Recruitment background in the Airline and Travel & Tourism sector, so a million miles away from miniature painting and warhammer! Since joining, my eyes have been opened up to a whole new world and I have already learnt so much about this hobby and also about just how much time and effort and absolute skill that goes into painting these miniatures and just what a talented bunch I now have the pleasure to work with. I look forward to expanding my new found knowledge of all things Warhammer!
I started painting miniatures at 10 years old with Orks and Space Marines. I then became obsessed with Lord of the Rings miniatures and painted most of the range by the time I was 15. I followed many other hobbyists and fell away from miniatures for a few years until I rekindled my interest a couple of years ago. I started back where I first started with Orks and Space Marines, though I like to think I’ve broadened my horizons now. I love painting miniatures and with Siege I’ve been able to paint many different types which I wouldn’t normally have gone for. I get to try new painting techniques which hopefully will make me a better painter in the future.
My love of wargaming goes back to when I picked up a secondhand Blood angels and Dark angels codex at a car boot when I was a teenager. The grimness of the art and huge backstory really appealed to me and eventually I picked up some Dark angels models (Don’t worry I have seen the error of my ways now!). I think I only actually painted one model the rest were my black spray painted angels. As most do, I lost touch with the hobby for a good few years but always reading the odd black library book. Jump forward about 15 years and I over heard a work colleague talking about 40K and next thing I know I’ve bought an army and joined a gaming club! Since then I’ve found a huge passion for painting and found it to be my own personal relaxation method.
My journey in to the miniature industry started in 1996 with 40k second edition. More miniatures than I could ever count and rules that at that age I would never understand! I was most excited that these miniatures could be painted and I quickly realised it was something I loved. Fast forward a few years and I had won 3 youngblood trophies at golden demons, a stint in the eavy metal team and culminating in 2016 when I was honoured to win the 2016 AOS Slayer Sword.
Commission painting has been a major part of my adult life and it is exciting to have the opportunity to work with Siege Studios which is the industry leader in commission painting. Despite my years painting, every day is a school day. I try and learn from each miniature keeping in my mind that it can always be better and the quality pushed.
I can’t wait to see what amazing stuff myself and the rest of the Siege team can produce in the future! And if you need a green skin painted… I’m your man!
I have been painting on and off since I discovered The Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle Game at the age of ten. I have a BA in illustration and an MA in communication design from Norwich University of the Arts.
I originally got into the hobby at about 14 years old, playing Necromunda before moving onto Warhammer Fantasy Battles. Unfortunately, as with many others, I ‘grew out’ of the hobby, deeming it too nerdy and took a hiatus from the hobby for around fifteen years. Thankfully, I was inspired to return by the new High Elves which were re-released for Warhammer. From there, large forces of Tomb Kings, Wood Elves, Warriors of Chaos and Beastmen soon followed. In terms of painting, obviously my levels of patience had increased from being 14, and I quickly began to become interested in the painting side. Over the years I entered local Games Workshop store painting competitions, which drew attention from friends wanting projects done for various armies. From there, I never looked back, painting commissions for multiple gaming systems from Games Workshop games, Infinity, Star Wars Legion and many more besides! When I get the time to paint for my own collection, I’m a fan of excess and can be found painting the glorious purple of the perfect legion, the Emperor’s Children!
I got into the hobby from a very early age. I think I was around 8 when I first went into a shop one a day out with the family and I noticed some models called Space Marines, the old weapon across the chest pose. After a bit of haggling with my dad I had my first box of space marines and it evolved since then!
Before becoming part of this incredible team I served in the British Army as a medic and followed that through into a medical career outside the military. I have always been fairly decent at painting and it was an incredibly important part of the hobby to me, so it was always a dream of mine to make it into a career. After practicing for years I finally became at the level required to apply for Siege Studios and accepted to join the team!
I am always looking to better and push myself and always enjoy unique and interesting projects. To me there is nothing more rewarding than a project well done and a happy customer.
Back in 2002, my friend convinced me to buy the Battle Games in Middle Earth magazine (issue 1 containing 10 Goblins from the Lord of The Rings range). This was my first foray into a hobby which I knew nothing of, which eventually lead to my first pilgrimage to my local Games Workshop. Upon leaving with my Orcs from the current starter set, I was set upon the path of Fantasy goodness, inspired by models in the cabinets and a certain staff member, I pushed to be the best painter I could possibly be.
I’ve been commission painting for around 9 years now and love it, I missed working as part of a team and this is where Siege comes in. I get some great opportunities to work on some epic commissions and work with a great team. I’m looking forward to continuing working with Siege and paint some awesome models and continue developing as a painter and a team member.
I originally got into miniature painting in the last century, back when minis were made of metal, drybrushing was a mythical high-level technique, and Jive Bunny and the Mastermixers were riding high in the charts. Unable to come close to replicating the work of Mike McVey, I turned away from the hobby for a couple of decades (the wilderness years) before returning in 2016 determined to get good at this painting lark. This is an ambition I still hold. I now spend my days painting miniatures, drinking my paint water, and thinking about orks… it beats working for a living.
Ever since walking into the Naafi in JHQ and spying a skull helmed warrior on the front of a magazine in the early 90s I’ve been hooked. Even after discovering this chaplain on the cover of White Dwarf was a Blood Angel, I was not deterred. Primarily a gamer, I threw myself into most systems that GW offered, attending events, reveling in the defeat of my enemies and cursing the cruel dice gods when I’ve lost. It wasn’t until the past decade that I began to focus more on how I painted my grey pile of shame. Pouring over my paper mountain of White Dwarfs, I practiced and taught myself how to paint with some interest.
Fast forward to now where I estimate that I’ve painted over a thousand marines for others, I’ve worked for GW painting models and more importantly worked for Siege for the past three years. I’ve traveled to Salute, Iron Skull and Adepticon with Siege speaking with fellow hobbyists about the models we paint and I’ve enjoyed every moment of it.
Going forward I plan to push my skills further, enter more painting competitions, win a few trophies and hopefully a best army award.
At the tender age of 7 years old I discovered the worlds of Warhammer 40K and Warhammer Fantasy and got bitten hard by the painting bug. Over 25 years later my passion for miniature painting has only gotten stronger! After many years of practice, patience and persistence, I have the pleasure of being hired by Siege Studios to share my passion for painting with the wider world. I constantly strive to learn and improve my techniques so that I can produce the best quality work possible, be it for single miniatures or armies alike. I look forward to all the fun and interesting painting jobs to come and push myself more and more to produce the top quality paint jobs that Siege is famous for!
I got into miniatures with Hero Quest and Space Crusade far too long ago. I’ve taken more than a few breaks from the hobby over the years, but I got back in after deciding I needed an activity to maintain my sanity while my infant son napped. I’m not sure I succeeded, but at least I know what wet blending is now. You win some, you lose some.
Growing up in a family of modelers, I have been making kits from about the age of 7. I was introduced to Games Workshop miniatures and the world of Citadel acrylic paints by a friend in 1989. I have dabbled with figure painting and model making over the years but it wasn’t until 2016 that I really came back to miniatures, painting properly with a focus and a drive to keep pushing myself as an artist. I really enjoy viewing other people’s work, sharing & learning, as well as competitive painting. I have a background as a 3D visualisation artist and I enjoy mountain biking, surfing and hitting the skatepark on my BMX.
My journey into the miniatures and wargaming industry did not start in a Games Workshop (like the majority of others). A second national Covid lockdown in 2020 and a relocation to Essex sparked the discovery of the world of Space Marines, mould lines and a shortage of Chaos Black spray! A sense of pressure was instantly felt on the realisation of the lack of females in the wargaming industry which was quickly replaced by an urge to encourage a more level playing field. In a noticeably short space of time and the learning of some very peculiar model names, I have learnt that brush care is crucial, the thinner the paint the better and you cannot ever have too many pots of (Blood Red) paint or spare sprues!
With a fresh set of eyes and no prior influence, the hunt was quickly on to find a favourite model which currently sits at a tie between Ghazghkull Thraka and Kairos Fateweaver. Not known for being patient, the most surprising and rewarding aspect of freelance painting is the ability to switch off from the external world and focus my attention on bringing each individual model to life for the client. Working in the Siege Head Office surrounded by the dedicated office team and incredibly talented freelance artists is extremely rewarding and I am very proud to be a part of it. Commission painting has become a huge part of my life and I look forward to pushing my skills and hopefully entering some competitions next year!
After leaving University with a degree in Illustration I started trying to turn the hobby I enjoyed into something I could earn money from. I decided to dedicate myself to painting wargaming miniatures to the highest standard, in the process attempting to fulfil a childhood ambition. I have over 5 years of professional commission painting experience and I’ve over 25 years of experience with painting and modelling from Airfix and Humbrol through to Games Workshop and beyond. For me there is great pleasure in bringing a miniature to life for the satisfaction of the client and I relish the meticulous nature of the craft. I hope to progress in the future to the point where I can create competition winning work.
I have been painting since late 2019 after rediscovering Warhammer with a friend around the same time. I always really enjoy painting a model to the best of my abilities and being able to play games with fully painted armies. I collect multiple 40k armies, my main two being Chaos Emperors Children and Sautekh Necrons along with two smaller armies of Space Wolves and Chaos Daemons.
I first got a thirst for miniatures back in 2001, playing Lord of the Rings and painting with my grandad. I started up again in my adult years when I began designing and making my own terrain. Since re-entering into Warhammer through the world of Age of Sigmar, I have relished joining Siege: Being able to paint a wide variety of different models and colour schemes that I would have not otherwise had the chance to do myself. The opportunities to expand my painting techniques and knowledge, especially when it comes to airbrushing, which is quickly becoming one of my favourite approaches. I have never been happier to be able to make a career out of being a kid again!
I first stumbled into the hobby by complete accident back in 2001, I had wanted to buy a model of a classic Mini Cooper to build and found myself walking out of the shop with a box of LOTR Mordor orcs, within a few days of this the cycle of going to the Liverpool Games Workshop for some paints and walking away with everything but that had begun. Since then I’ve not looked back (or even got that Mini Cooper) and have been painting pretty much everyday since, continually trying to learn new techniques and develop my skill as a painter. My personal army is a steadily increasing collection of Orks, Waaagh!!
In 2003 at the age of 13 I gave up on Warhammer in an attempt to focus on all that was (as a teen) ‘cool’…. I came to my senses a decade later, and decided Warhammer was cool too… social expectations be darned! So now I’m back on the miniature wagon and have been since 2013. Since then I’ve grown and changed and developed my style. I am entirely comfortable painting eavy metal/standard GW style, or taking minor diversions to explore amazing client ideas. Or I can follow what (I dare not admit in public) I call my ‘flow’ to try and create models with atmosphere and lighting. Those who know me know that I adore anything Xenos!! If you’re looking for someone to help you with your Tyranid worshipping cults, or their star gods themselves, or a raiding party of Drukhair, or even their more restrained Craftworld brethren, or some clean-cut, swift battle suits for the greater good, I’m your guy. For age of sigmar I can’t resist undead, dwarf or ork/goblin (I adore a squig or two). I’m an avid painter, collector and budding gamer who is excited and motivated to paint cool things and I feel most calm with a brush in my hand!
I’m a miniatures painter living in the UK, I have been painting models in various shapes and sizes for the past 27 years. Over the last 3 years I have picked up a great selection of painting awards for single models, units and entire armies, most recently picking up a Bronze Demon for my Kairos Fateweaver. I am now a full time miniature painter, trying to paint anything and everything! Being a commission painter allows me to paint models and armies I would normally not pickup. This gives me loads of opportunities to try new and interesting painting techniques. I basically live and breathe the hobby, all day, every day!
My earliest memories of the hobby are twofold, first playing a game of the Lord of the Rings battle strategy game with my Dad in his freezing garage, and second playing football. It was a cold December day and we were preparing for our match and my Dad said to me “Tom, if you score a hattrick today we’ll go to Games Workshop and I’ll buy you a box of Dwarf warriors.”. With this incentive I played one of the best games of my life, scoring not one not two but three goals, earning myself the hattrick and a brand new box of Khazad-dum’s finest. I was 9 years old. From there my love for the hobby has never stopped growing. I’ve played, collected and painted models from Lord of the Rings, 40k and Blood Bowl, and don’t plan on stopping any time soon. By the time I finished studying Film and TV at University, Siege Studios was a company very well known to me, and when I saw they were hiring I leapt at the opportunity to join such a great company. I have found here that I can combine both my passion for tabletop games and filmmaking to create content that is seen by the wider community, and contributes greatly to others’ experience of this awesome hobby, for which, I’m sure, little 9 year old me, would be very proud.
“Siege Studios did a fantastic job on our Space Marine chapter. The level of quality exceeded my expectations, and make a fine addition to the MiniWarGaming Space Marine chapter. Thanks for the great work!”
‘Siege studios did a great job, each HQ character model was as requested in the specification sheet. They all looked great and the squads all looked great. The workmanship for the chosen silver painting standard was fantastic. As a consequence I will be requesting another commission. The only issue is do I request a phase 2 of the Grey Knights commission or choose a new one. As result of the skill and workmanship I really do not know what to do!’
“Extremely happy with the quality of Siege Studios and their friendly, professional communication. Would highly recommend them as an exceptional painting service and value for money!”
As with a lot of pictures of models they did not do them justice and the models look better in person and arrived completed ahead of time. I look forward to using Siege Studios again in the future.
“The Talons of the Emperor commission I’ve had done with Siege Studio has turned out amazing. After giving the them a paint scheme expect your models to look exactly the way you want, I look forward to expanding the force.”
“Siege completed a build and paint commission for 3 dreadnoughts. I highly recommend the Gold service – the colours were rich and the fine detailing incredible. I will definitely use them again”
“Absolutely chuffed to bits with my commission from Siege Studios! Is a mega professional company with a clear passion for painting beautiful models. When I got the commission back, it felt like I now owned “box art minis”! Big thumbs up”
“Siege Studio did a perfect job on my Gorkanought. I gave them full creative freedom when painting the model as long as it matches the Badmoon Ork theme, and I must say they did a wonderful job! It’s the perfect centerpiece for my Mek army. If I had any questions regarding your commission they always gave a quick answer back. Great Job Siege Studios!”
“Thanks to a lot of positive reviews and the wonderful work for Miniwar Gamining and Table Top Tactics, I have chosen Siege Studios for the painting of my three Tau Riptides at Silver Level. Through the whole process from the initial inquiry to the delivery of the completed models, the experience was extremely satisfying. Quick and always kind communication with James, obvious attention to my specifications and an absolutely stunning paint job are very good reasons for another commission with Siege Studios. Thanks for the amazing work guys!”
“A great painting service, with close follow-up and fast replies to questions. The painters also know a lot about the game, so one does not assemble units wrong”
“Siege Studios provide the client with a clear procedure and written trail of agreed specifications, reducing the chance of errors and ensuring that the order does not get muddled up with someone else’s similar order. Items are sent out recorded, which can be invaluable under certain circumstances”
“Thanks so much Siege Studios. I just don’t have the skills to free hand a banner, seeing the banners by Jonas just blew me away. The communication process was easy and we bounced ideas back and forth before Jonas came up with a concept sketch. He knocked out the Space wolf banner pretty quickly. I ended up taking several weeks before I was able to paint up a marine to hold it though. But the end result speaks for itself. Next time I need a banner done again I know who to turn to.”
“Siege Studios are an excellent company, communication is swift and clear, prices are fair and painting standards are among the highest on the net. I highly recommend them to everyone.”
“After completing the second phase of my Eldar army I couldn’t be happier with Siege Studios! The work is amazing and perfect. That isn’t just my opinion either. I can’t count the compliments I get when my boys are on the table.”
“From the moment I first approached Siege Studios to paint my Halo Fleet Battles starter box for me they have been up most professionals throughout. Upon learning they had experience painting miniatures made by Spartan Miniatures I was instantly sold on this studio to paint my Halo Fleet Battles models. Upon seeing pictures, videos and receiving my models I was not disappointed, they captured the essence of Halo for me in the 47 models they painted. The OSL on the engines and covenant fleet are a particular highlight for me and bring the models to life on the table. I know when Spartan Games release their ground combat Halo game who I will be approaching to paint those”
“A fast and friendly lot who I would recommend for a build & convert only commission will defo be back for another project!”

“I commissioned a custom Lord of Change model from Siege Studios this year and I could not be more happy with the finished product. The only downside is that the model is painted so well that I am afraid of ever playing with it and accidentally smudging the great work that they did!”
“While Siege Studio’s may not be the cheapest option on the market today in terms of commissioned model painting, that MORE than make up for it in quality and speed of service. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for extremely high quality work”

“This was my first time using a commission painting service and I didn’t really know what to expect. I googled commission painting and selected one at random and boy am I glad I selected Siege Studios! From the outset the communication has been first rate and the quality of the painting is so high. My commission was a small Imperial Guard kill team, not a huge army project like I know they get. I still very much felt like my small commission was important to them, the customer service was second to none. Thank you to everyone at Siege Studios, I will definitely be using your services again.”
I have never had a commission before so wasn’t 100% sure what to expect. I can say without a doubt it was an incredibly satisfying experience, with the end product surpassing even my best expectations! A very professional company who I will strongly recommend to anyone.
I gave Siege Studios a very specific brief. As collector rather than a player, they have exceeded all my expectations. Their attention to detail is second to none. Great project!
Having worked with Siege Studios for on several different projects, I was especially impressed with the quality and attention to detail that they lavished on my army projects. They are keen to collaborate with you on creative ideas and definitely go the extra distance when meeting a client’s expectations. It’s this level of excellence that has made Siege the official Tabletop Tactics Painting Studio.
“Siege Studios did a fantastic job on our Space Marine chapter. The level of quality exceeded my expectations, and make a fine addition to the MiniWarGaming Space Marine chapter. Thanks for the great work!”
