An absolute MONSTER of a tank we built and painted for our client’s Apocalypse-themed army. Not just one, but four monstrous Baneblade variants, all kitted out with titan-grade firepower. The extremely weather and battle worn look was super fun to paint and very fitting for this type of “miniature”. The heat burn on the Melta cannon shroud was really fun to work on! It was a huge project getting these to both function and look the part. Each one turned out brilliantly, but we’ve got a real soft spot for the melta cannon variant. A vibrant and battle tested gladiator reaper from an Imperial Fist army phase which we are completing for our client. The high contrast black and yellow scheme works fantastically on this aggressive tank. All the blue accents on the optics and lights contrast perfectly to the yellow armour colour. The subtle red accents complete the primary colour triad split scheme that the Imperial fists are known for. A completed Tyranid Norn Queen which we have completed in an awesome hive fleet Behemoth scheme with a mars themed alien world base. This vicious apex Tyranid has been a joy to paint in the high contrast hive fleet scheme. VENGEANCE FOR SOTHA! A completed Custom Service one off bespoke character commission of the Scythes of The Emperor Chapter Master. Our client will be using this guy as Marneus Calgar, using the gauntlet bolter and power scythe to represent his weapons! With a lot of bionics and extra mechanical details to show this guy has been up up close and personal with lot’s of Tyranids. The severed massive Tyranid head on his base his latest victory. Our client asked us to create this awesome character to lead their army for their collection and to be a display piece to personify their loyalty to the chapter. We loved painting this miniature to our platinum level, with non-metallic metal, tens and tens of hours of glazing, tinting and freehand. This guy personifies wrath and vengeance for such a hard fought chapter. The iconic black and yellow colour scheme works perfectly on the miniature and having the gold slightly desaturated avoids it clashing with the yellow.
