Marduk Sedras, Lord of the Twenty-Third Order, a name spoken in hushed reverence within the ranks of the First Legion. As a commander of the Dreadwing during the age of the Warhammer The Horus Heresy, Sedras embodied the Dark Angels’ most relentless and uncompromising doctrines. The Twenty-Third Order stood as a silent blade in the void, unleashed only when annihilation, not compliance, was required. Where others sought glory, Sedras delivered eradication in the Lion’s name. This stunning Forge World miniature was an absolute privilege to bring to life for our client’s Dark Angels commission. We leaned into the grim authority of the Dreadwing aesthetic, building rich obsidian armour tones with subtle green undertones to tie him unmistakably to the First Legion. Our client requested a striking variation from the box art scheme, most notably a cream-toned left arm to create contrast against the dark plate, a nod to the Order’s esoteric heraldry and to make the silhouette stand out on the tabletop. Additional tweaks to markings and detailing further personalised the piece, ensuring this Sedras feels truly singular while remaining lore faithful. An imposing presence. A WIP 360 of a one off bespoke Custom Service Magnus The Red which we are creating for our client with his own display plinth and display base. This has been an absolute privilege so far from first meeting through the additional detail sculpting and converting. Stood atop a changing environment from crystalline features to rock and wood, Magnus calls forth for the power of the empyrean using his infamous book. This is a second Magnus which we have created for this specific client, to create the next version of him in his head cannon story arch. Another unit of covert Dark Angels Scouts completed as part of this evolving army phase, pushing the narrative and the cohesion even further across the force. As with the first wave, these warriors are painted in homage to the old First Legion scheme, clad head-to-toe in obsidian armour, stark, ominous, and unapologetically grimdark. The black-on-black finishes paired with subtle accents give them that stealth-hunter presence the Unforgiven are known for. The new Scout sculpts continue to impress. They carry that classic firstborn silhouette we all remember, but with refined proportions and modern detailing that ties them seamlessly into a contemporary force. A perfect blend of nostalgia and evolution.
