An awesome Tau Commander from a Star Wars Scarif / Shore trooper themed army phase commission! The muted grey, brown, tan and beach / desert tones give a great feel to the miniatures in this commission which are ace. The red accents on the armour add interest and balance the scheme nicely. How many of you remember Dungeon Quest? Nostalgia time, it’s not every day you get to paint the full character set of Dungeon Quest from back in the day! This commission was a true privilege and really brought back a lot of memories in the studio! At their time these miniatures were absolutely awesome and were the pinnacle, they yet still hold a special place in our hearts and it was simply fantastic to get to paint them! 💀 What game is the one you have the most fond memories of from your childhood and why? A stealthy Raptors Phobos Lieutenant which we painted up for a tutorial over on our Patreon. This is fantastic sculpt, really dynamic and wrapping it in the livery of the Raptors chapter just makes perfect sense! The rich green armour colour and red accents contrast brilliantly and make the overall scheme really great. A stunning and super impressive Lion El’Jonson which we loved painting and bringing to life for our clients collection. The obsidian armour nodding back to the heresy era legion scheme and all the knightly heraldry and checkerboard patterning freehand was fun to do. We loved adding some detailed freehand on the reverse of the miniature on the cape! A completed one off bespoke Custom Service Morathi, Shadow Queen of the Daughters of Khaine now fully painted in a striking black, purple and crimson scheme. The deep purple flesh, black talons and glossy carapace blend seamlessly to create a truly menacing presence. We’ve absolutely loved working on this dramatic piece. The neutral toned canyon base provides a brilliant contrast to the rich colours of the model and frames her imposing form beautifully. This project was a wild one and such a joy to bring to life for our client.
