A MOMENT THAT CHANGED THE IMPERIUM. A WIP look at a Custom Service diorama we are working on recreating one of the most brutal and defining moments of the Horus Heresy for our client. Horus Ascended facing Ollanius Persson. With Horus standing victorious, Persson stepped between the Warmaster and the wounded Emperor. He raised his lasgun and fired, knowing full well what stood before him. The response was instantaneous.Horus turned him into nothing more than a red mist. It is a tiny moment within the scale of the Siege of Terra, but one that perfectly captures the sheer hopelessness of standing against Horus Ascended. For this piece, we wanted to tell that story through the composition, with the scale and presence of Horus towering over Persson as he makes his final stand. We cannot wait to paint this epic “duel” and moment of the Heresy captured in miniature form! One man. One lasgun. Leading the most savage astartes chapter we have the brutal Tyberos The Red Wake! This version is a one off bespoke Custom Service model which we used a mix of traditional hand sculpting and converting to create a monster of a miniature. Our client wanted a seriously aggressive looking pose with a haunched and looming Tyberos! The fallen Black Legion marine on the base really adds to the overall composition. When it came to painting him in the livery of the Carcharodons, we went for high contrasting grey and black tones with accents in primary colours to make those details instantly stand out individually. 🦈 We hope you like this absolute monster of a character! #carcharodons #tyberostheredwake #spacesharks #40k #warhammer

A stunning Custom Service High Elf miniature / diorama that we had the pleasure of bringing to life for our client based on some OG artwork. See the final image for the artwork angle. The mighty Lion El’Jonson, Primarch of the Dark Angels painted in an alternate colour scheme for our clients collection. This piece had some great choices on the spec, the eye catching different red scheme and a change to one of the heads (see later photos for this). It was great to paint this model totally different from normal whilst adding all the flavour with paint that makes this sculpt so good! The black details and rich golds worked really well with the warm deep red! One of, if not our favourite alternate takes of Mortarion, Daemon Primarch of Nurgle and Primarch of the Death Guard. This was a great opportunity to paint Mortarion in a black scheme with some high contrast blue to green tones. We absolutely loved this spec and our clients decision to do a Death Guard army in these colours. With a cold toned base to complement the colours on the miniature it works fantastically and really makes for an even more evil looking version of the Death Lord himself! #mortarion #nurgle #warhammer #40k #warhammer40k

The Herald of the Blood God! An aggressive and imposing Lord Invocatus joins the ranks of an army phase commission we loved painting for our client! This model’s two tone split colour scheme gives striking contrast between the rider and his daemonic steed, ensuring both stand out as distinct yet unified elements of the piece. The subtle lava glow across the base and the fiery OSL effects on the eyes and Chaos runes add an infernal energy that really brings this servant of Khorne to life. In the lore, Lord Invocatus is said to be one of Khorne’s chosen warlords, riding his hellforged mount Karnath across the battlefields of the galaxy. Known as the Firebrand of Skalathrax, his arrival is heralded by the roar of warp torn skies and the scent of burning blood. This was a phenomenal miniature to work on an iconic centrepiece from the World Eaters and Khorne ranges that perfectly captures the fury of the Blood God’s champions! 💀 What’s your favourite Chaos model, and what draws you to it? #chaos #chaosspacemarines #chaosspacemarine #abaddon #khorne

The savage yet angelic @thearmouryuk Blood Angels Death Company Captain which we created and painted for the launch of the Armoury brand here at Siege. Built to embody the brutal duality of the Blood Angels, this character combines the ferocity of the Death Company with the unmistakable angelic imagery of Sanguinius. The conversion was done around an elevated, almost divine composition, giving the Captain an imposing airborne pose and an angelic visage that contrasts beautifully with the violence and tragedy of the Black Rage. The deep black armour is pushed with crisp blue toned edge highlights, broken up by the iconic red Death Company crosses, rich gold details and restrained touches of colour throughout. The turquoise power sword gives the model a striking focal point, while the high contrasting white wings reinforce that celestial aesthetic and frame the entire composition. Every detail was rendered to tell the story of a warrior caught between two identities, the noble angelic legacy of the Blood Angels and the savage fate awaiting those consumed by the Black Rage. This is exactly what the Armoury is about, taking stock parts and pushing them further through creative conversion, composition and exceptional painting. #warhammer40k #warhammercommunity #bloodangels #deathcompany #40k
