One of, if not our favourite alternate takes of Mortarion, Daemon Primarch of Nurgle and Primarch of the Death Guard. This was a great opportunity to paint Mortarion in a black scheme with some high contrast blue to green tones. We absolutely loved this spec and our clients decision to do a Death Guard army in these colours. With a cold toned base to complement the colours on the miniature it works fantastically and really makes for an even more evil looking version of the Death Lord himself! #mortarion #nurgle #warhammer #40k #warhammer40k

The Herald of the Blood God! An aggressive and imposing Lord Invocatus joins the ranks of an army phase commission we loved painting for our client! This model’s two tone split colour scheme gives striking contrast between the rider and his daemonic steed, ensuring both stand out as distinct yet unified elements of the piece. The subtle lava glow across the base and the fiery OSL effects on the eyes and Chaos runes add an infernal energy that really brings this servant of Khorne to life. In the lore, Lord Invocatus is said to be one of Khorne’s chosen warlords, riding his hellforged mount Karnath across the battlefields of the galaxy. Known as the Firebrand of Skalathrax, his arrival is heralded by the roar of warp torn skies and the scent of burning blood. The savage yet angelic @thearmouryuk Blood Angels Death Company Captain which we created and painted for the launch of the Armoury brand here at Siege. Built to embody the brutal duality of the Blood Angels, this character combines the ferocity of the Death Company with the unmistakable angelic imagery of Sanguinius. The conversion was done around an elevated, almost divine composition, giving the Captain an imposing airborne pose and an angelic visage that contrasts beautifully with the violence and tragedy of the Black Rage. The deep black armour is pushed with crisp blue toned edge highlights, broken up by the iconic red Death Company crosses, rich gold details and restrained touches of colour throughout. The turquoise power sword gives the model a striking focal point, while the high contrasting white wings reinforce that celestial aesthetic and frame the entire composition. Every detail was rendered to tell the story of a warrior caught between two identities, the noble angelic legacy of the Blood Angels and the savage fate awaiting those consumed by the Black Rage. This is exactly what the Armoury is about, taking stock parts and pushing them further through creative conversion, composition and exceptional painting. #warhammer40k #warhammercommunity #bloodangels #deathcompany #40k

The Retributor Chapter! Here are some awesome miniatures painted in the iconic scheme of the Astartes series chapter. We had a blast painting the small force for our client who loved the Astartes series. 💀 What chapter, faction or character would you love to see a series about? A mysterious and covert chapter of Astartes who are described as distant, relentless and efficient by those fighting alongside them. The Retributors are a stern & austere chapter, more interested in tactical success than battlefield glory. Retributor doctrine often dictates their forces are applied as widely as possible across a theatre of war, operating in small self-sufficient units tasked with taking on as many high-risk targets and objectives as possible, crippling key enemy assets to allow Imperial forces to bring campaigns to quick & decisive victories. #paintingwarhammer #paintingwarhammer40k #40k #gamesworkshop #warhammercommunity warhammer

“I am the blade. I am the flame. I am the purging fire.” Here is an awesome Castellan Crowe we have just wrapped up and what a rewarding project he’s been. A steadfast champion of the Grey Knights, Crowe carries the cursed Black Blade of Antwyr, a daemon weapon so malevolent it constantly whispers temptations to its wielder. Only Crowe, through unwavering will and psychic discipline, can bear the blade without succumbing to its influence, using it solely to purge the enemies of the Emperor. The psychic flame effects were a particular highlight, with smooth transitions from deep warp-violet to ethereal blues and oranges creating a real sense of warp-infused energy. The silver armour was a pleasure to paint, allowing us to push contrast and reflection for that polished ceramite finish. We also really enjoyed the fine detail work on the purity seals, inscriptions and gold edge trim, all of which added narrative weight and brought the character to life. A true labour of love, and a miniature that tells his own story just through the paint and fantastic sculpt. #warhammer #warhammer40k #warhammercommunity #40k #greyknights

INNOCENCE PROVES NOTHING 💀 A 360 of a Custom Service Inquisitor Lord Torquemada Coteaz which loved completing for our clients collection. This fantastic conversion and traditional hand sculpted miniature has been an absolute privilege to bring to life for our client, check the second image for a before paint green and grey image. As one of, if not their favourite characters from the Warhammer 40,000 setting, our client wanted something a little special to represent him in their collection. Painted to honour the OG artwork of him from the Daemonhunters codex in his golden armour! We have not forgotten his cyber eagle, check the later photos in the carousel where he is completed and painted. We loved adding all of the skulls and skeletons onto the base, this was taken from reference imagery that our client provided.
