Captain Doroor Hesh of Clan Morlaag from our @thearmouryuk launch. As Iron Captain of the so called Fist of Manus (8th Company), Hesh embodies the doctrine of a single perfect blow, leading devastating shock assaults that leave nothing but ruin in their wake. For this piece we leaned fully into the Iron Hands identity, painting him in a classic scheme of black armour with stark white and sharp blue accents, most notably in the lenses to give that cold, calculating presence on the battlefield. The conversion work pushes that identity even further. The Toy Story inspired claw power fist brings a brutal industrial feel, reinforcing the heavy cybernetic aesthetic that defines both Hesh and Clan Morlaag. It feels less like a weapon and more like a tool of absolute mechanical domination. This is exactly what the Armoury conversion service is all about. An awesome Black Vipers chapter Repulsor that our client had added to their army phase commission. The black and red scheme is really striking and gives the Astartes a menacing look. General Grievous which we have recently painted and loved working on a different miniature than normal. The slight lean of his bike gives a really nice sense of motion like a moment of his chase scene captured in time. A vibrant and powerful Avatar of Khaine that we have completed for our clients collection. The Avatar is truly an iconic and dominant presence in an Aeldari army. We loved painting it in homage to the box art but with some minor colour choice changes like the blue tabard. The blue orange contrasting scheme has been fantastic to work on and all the blended flames are always fun to paint. #aeldari #eldar #warhammer40k #40k #warhammer

A vibrant Hawk Lords Primaris Balistus dreadnought from the studio army which we painted up for the release of the Leviathan launch box. Dreadnoughts are such an iconic unit from the Space Marines miniature line so it was great to see a new version released in this box nodding to OG original castraferrum pattern dreadnought of previous editions. We chose Hawk Lords for their purple chapter scheme and painted them really vibrant like early editions of 40k but with a modern take. Adding on all the chapter heraldry was done using the 30K Raven Guard transfer sheet and some others, we especially like the “bumper” stickers quotes of destruction that were adding for anyone advancing behind him! #primaris #primarismarines #astartes #spacemarines #spacemarine

Another recently completed wedding cake topper for our clients very special day! This was a truly fantastic opportunity and privilege to do a custom piece for our client featuring their favourite 40k factions and characters and their pet all on one piece to mark and celebrate their wedding. The colour palette was great and the marble flooring and alter were really fun to bring to life. The Emperors champion for the groom with a black and white split scheme like a shirt and trousers and the white armour on the Ephrael bride was a perfect choice by our client. We sculpted hair and other details to personalise each of the characters. Join us in wishing them congratulations for their special day! A glorious Saint Celestine in a custom covent colour scheme we worked with our client to create! Celestine is a phenomenal model with some truly intricate details that are always fun paint in whatever scheme is applied.
