So the Legion of the Damned are returning… Here is a quick little Custom Service Legionnaire we created for our sculpting classes as a demo miniature. A vicious Drazhar Master of Blades from a Dark Eldar / Drukhari army phase which we worked on. This sinister and determined character assassin was a pleasure to paint in the obsidian and good scheme. All the shattered souls stones on his armour were a great chance to use many spot colours to add interest and draw the eye. Making all of the bones have tonal variance from dark to light like cattle horns looked fantastic. The alien themed basing worked really well with splashes of purple and magenta to contrast the neutral toned rock and Aeldari ruins. #drukhari #darkeldar #warhammer #warhammer40k #40k

Some completed Foetid Bloat Drones from the Death Guard army phase commission we have just wrapped up. The worn and rusty metallic details with the orange toned rust contrasted the vibrant armour colour greens really nicely on these six heavily detailed miniatures. The whole army has this awesome plague ridden urban basing theme which adds the decayed and pestilent feel that Death Guard or Nurgle need so much! A Tau Empire Broadside battlesuit which we have painted in a desert / beach themed scheme as part of the Star Wars Scarif themed army commission we are working on. The contrasting black and tan with blue and red accents works nicely makes each part of the miniature very readable. Finished off with a beach themed base to compliment the army and its setting. A monstrous one off bespoke Custom Service Tyberos the Red Wake we brought to life in the iconic grey of the Carcharodons Astra. Towering in brutal, heavily customised Terminator armour, this savage Chapter Master is captured in all his ferocity, adorned with detailed chapter iconography and wielding his signature lightning claw chainfists, Hunger and Slake. A mysterious and terrifying figure, Tyberos is known as the Red Wake for the sheer devastation he leaves in his path. As the leader of the Carcharodons, his methods are uncompromising and utterly ruthless. Emerging from the depths of the void during the Badab War, he and his warriors brought swift, brutal justice to those who defied the Imperium, striking without warning and leaving none alive. Tyberos is as much a force of nature as he is a warrior, embodying the cold savagery of his chapter’s predatory doctrine. We had a blast bringing the base to life with scattered Hive Fleet Leviathan Tyranid corpses, painted in their classic scheme. The added blood effects and gore emphasise the brutal efficiency of Tyberos as he tears through the enemies of Mankind with merciless resolve. This was a thrilling piece to work on. Another squad of Dark Angels Sternguard we have completed for our clients Dark Angels army commission. Clad in the bone veteran first company colour scheme these stoic and specialist Astartes look great! The red and green complimentary colours work brilliantly with the bone armour. An awesome Death Guard Daemon Prince from the vibrant sickly army commission phase we have just wrapped up. The green x magenta scheme works so well and gives the already intricate miniature a warm and captivating visage. The toxic basing works so well on the miniature and adds to the nurgle / plague ridden environment. THE HUNTER OF XENOS 👾 Here’s a completed Inquisitor Ynighoh Kroyle painted for a client, and we absolutely loved their choice of colours for this one. Kroyle is such a characterful model. A radical Ordo Xenos Inquisitor, master huntsman and collector of some of the galaxy’s most dangerous creatures, he rides into battle atop a Garralisk, the last of its kind. Our client wanted a custom scheme for both Kroyle and his mount, so we went for a cold, weathered palette across the Garralisk, with pale skin, subtle tonal shifts and darker organic details to give the creature plenty of depth. Kroyle was finished with worn leathers, dark armour and aged metals, with small red accents bringing everything together. The marble base was finished with cold grey veining, topped with snow and scattered debris to give the whole piece a frozen, weather-beaten feel. A brilliant character to paint and a great example of how our client’s colour choices can completely transform a miniature. #warhammer40k #warhammer40000 #imperialagents #inquisition #miniaturepainting
