Flashback of the Custom Service Lord Commander Dante we created and painted for the launch of Custom Service 4 years ago! How time fly’s, since its launch we have created hundreds of one off bespoke character pieces for our clients. Every one over the years has had a deep personal story with a massive collaborative effort from the talented Custom Service and Studio client team to bring them to life. A lot goes into and on behind the scenes to create these truly stunning pieces. This Dante was an adaption of some awesome art of Dante and the next scene from that piece where he is landing on a rock, has turned and is facing down his next foe! Upscaled and brought into line with Primaris miniatures but retaining his iconic look, armour and the death mask of Sanguinius. This Dante is part of James’s personal collection and one of his most cherished pieces that he has ever painted. Some covert specialist ops Astra Militarum Imperial Guard Kasrkin we painted for one of our clients who wanted them to look very tactical! This was a great opportunity to use a lot of dark and desaturated colours to give a very menacing look to the unit! A 360 look at a furious Blood Angels Death Company Redemptor Dreadnought from a project phase we have just completed. This awesome miniature is great before paint is applied with all its details and intricate areas. The nod to previous dreadnought designs is really clever and keep this miniature very iconic to the OG versions. Painted in the infamous obsidian of the Death Company, the fallen Astartes champion inside is full of rage! We loved adding the colours of the Blood Angels to this fantastic miniature! A disgustingly stunning Death Guard Lord of Contagion which we have just completed for our clients collection. This miniature is absolutely iconic from the Dark Imperium box that was released many years ago but still holds up today and is exceptionally fun to paint! A bonkers Custom Service one off bespoke Adeptus Mechanicus Tech Priest Dominus we created and traditionally had sculpted. Our client sent us a mega spec to create this totally bespoke miniature for their collection inspired by arachnids and a certain villain! Can you guess who? Painting this miniature with the classic red and steel colours but adding the green glow across several aspects of the Tech Priest.
