A 360 and closer look at an incredible Tau Storm Surge we have completed as part of an army phase commission for our client in a striking scheme. This was referenced from several white dwarf articles from the past which our client loved and wanted their army to match! This super striking scheme looks fantastic on the table and has really taken off in the studio with many of us loving it! The warm and cold temperature split of the scheme is really good and keeps it interesting in its vibe. Having an urban neutral toned snow / tundra base helps frame the vibrant miniature nicely. An awesome Grey Knights Land Raider which we have just completed as part of a mixed Imperium army phase commission. This infamous behemoth of a tank looks simply fantastic in the livery of chapter 666, the sons of Titan, the Grey Knights! Our client asked for a classic bright silver tone across the Grey Knight elements which we think works really well and gives a slightly more glorious vibe to them. It was great to add the personal heraldry on this tank to the front two sections which was free handed on. To make all the lenses and optics on the tank standout our client chose for us to paint them in a nice blue which contrasted and complimented the red really well. Some Slaanesh themed Chaos Space Marine Obliterators from an army commission that we thoroughly enjoyed working on for our client. We were asked to make each model as unique as possible through conversion, which gave us a great opportunity to get creative. We had a blast painting them in a soft pastel pink scheme, as requested by our client, with turquoise accent colours and black high contrast trim to complete the overall look. In the grimdark future of the 41st millennium, Obliterators are terrifying Chaos Space Marines who have undergone horrific mutations. These former warriors of the Imperium now serve the dark gods, their bodies twisted into living weapons capable of adapting to any battle scenario. A radiant purple Adeptus Mechanicus Onager Dunecrawler, freshly completed as part of an army phase commission. This striking custom Forge World scheme was an absolute joy to bring to life. The deep purple armor is enhanced with warm copper accents, crisp white markings, and a regal cream undercarriage that grounds the entire palette beautifully. Our client’s inspired choice of brilliant blue optics gives the walker a piercing, otherworldly gaze, a perfect contrast to the rich tones of its chassis. In the lore, the Onager Dunecrawler is a mainstay of the Adeptus Mechanicus legions, a scuttling engine of war that serves as both protector and instrument of the Omnissiah’s will. It’s legs stride across the wastelands of distant worlds, its sensors ever watchful for heresy and inefficiency alike. The Crimson King Reimagined. A breathtaking Magnus the Red one off bespoke Custom Service character commission that was an absolute joy for our team to bring to life. Our client came to us with an incredible creative vision, and their concept for Magnus was nothing short of extraordinary. Bringing their personal interpretation of the Primarch of the Thousand Sons to life, complete with bespoke details and custom elements, was a true privilege. This version of Magnus was rendered in a luxurious platinum finish, with tens of hours invested into every fine detail and transition. The result is a radiant, otherworldly take on one of Warhammer’s most iconic figures. In the lore, Magnus the Red is the sorcerous Primarch of the Thousand Sons, a being of immense psychic might whose thirst for forbidden knowledge led him to both glory and tragedy. Once a scholar-king of Prospero, now a daemon prince of Tzeentch, his burning eye still gazes across time, ever seeking to reclaim what was lost. The Herald of the Blood God! An aggressive and imposing Lord Invocatus joins the ranks of an army phase commission we loved painting for our client! This model’s two tone split colour scheme gives striking contrast between the rider and his daemonic steed, ensuring both stand out as distinct yet unified elements of the piece. The subtle lava glow across the base and the fiery OSL effects on the eyes and Chaos runes add an infernal energy that really brings this servant of Khorne to life. In the lore, Lord Invocatus is said to be one of Khorne’s chosen warlords, riding his hellforged mount Karnath across the battlefields of the galaxy. Known as the Firebrand of Skalathrax, his arrival is heralded by the roar of warp torn skies and the scent of burning blood.
